ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan stated on Monday that Structure has been ‘mocked’ by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders simply to rescue former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Reacting to the passing of Elections Invoice 2017 within the Nationwide Meeting, he tweeted that “Black day at the moment for Pak democracy with passage of Elec Reforms Invoice which permits a disqualified individual to go a political occasion.”
He added, “At present a mockery was product of the Structure merely to rescue Nawaz Sharif politically. However nation is not going to permit corrupt mafias to rule now.”
Opposition creating ruckus only for present: Pervaiz Rasheed
However, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator Pervaiz Rasheed stated that he’s amazed on the manner opposition reacted to the passing of the invoice.
“Opposition making a ruckus over the matter is only a political present,” he stated.
Nationwide Meeting had already handed this invoice however some amendments have been made to it whereas it was introduced within the Senate, he remarked.
Earlier, the Nationwide Meeting had handed the Elections Invoice 2017, paving manner for former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to regain chairmanship of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz.
A controversial clause within the invoice permits politicians disqualified from holding public workplace to steer political events.
