KARACHI: An alleged Daesh activist was arrested in a raid carried out by Federal Investigative Company at Cannt space on Thursday.
The FIA’s counter-terrorism division claims that the arrested alleged activist, Khalilur Rehman, was concerned in recruiting folks for the phobia group via social media, including, Rehman was working greater than 50 fb pages wherein hate materials was uploaded.
As many as two cell phones, Daesh flags have been recovered from the suspect. The telephones have been despatched for forensic examination. FIA authorities mentioned case has been registered in opposition to the suspect in counter-terrorism wing station at Islamabad.
In the meantime, the suspect was offered earlier than a Justice of the Peace at metropolis courtroom. FIA requested for his 14 days bodily remand. The courtroom authorised his bodily remand for seven days.
