An Iraqi army parade celebrating ultimate victory over Islamic State is underway in Baghdad’s closely fortified Inexperienced Zone, an Iraqi army spokesman instructed Reuters on Sunday.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi declared ultimate victory over Islamic State on Saturday after Iraqi forces drove its final remnants from the nation, three years after the militant group captured a couple of third of Iraq’s territory.
