Indian envoy summoned over LoC violation by Foreign Office | Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday summoned the Indian Deputy Excessive Commissioner to lodge a protest towards unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian troops alongside the Line of Management (LoC), mentioned a press release issued by the International Workplace (FO).

Indian forces had opened fireplace within the Nakyal sector of the LoC on Wednesday which killed a civilian and injured 4 others.

The Indian diplomat was handed a letter protesting the firing throughout the LoC, with Pakistan additionally protesting Indian atrocities in Indian-occupied Kashmir

The FO added that the deliberate concentrating on of civilians by Indian forces was unacceptable and India was violating human rights by committing such acts.

The Indian aspect was additionally urged to respect the 2003 Ceasefire Understanding, examine this and different incidents of ceasefire violations and instruct the Indian forces to respect the ceasefire in letter and spirit and keep peace on the LoC.

India has violated the ceasefire 873 instances in 2017 which has killed 40 individuals and injured 148 others. 

The Pakistan Military responded successfully after the incident and inflicted casualties and heavy losses on the Indian posts from the place the firing originated.

The military mentioned the Indian forces intentionally targetted the civil inhabitants with heavy weapons, together with mortars and anti-tank guided missiles.
