National Sales Manager (NSM) – Retail Banking

National Sales Manager will be responsible for overall development of liability portfolio for the bank. NSM will be responsible for designing action plans to make effective team management of liability sales team. This role will involve directly managing the sales team of the bank.

NSM will also work closely with the Branch Banking team to continuously develop deposit mobilization guidelines and policies. The incumbent will drive the sales of Liability products of MBL in accordance with Shariah, Quality, Compliance and audit parameters.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate very closely with Branch Banking team to meet the deposit targets of the Bank that are set by Management from time to time
  • Ensure proper attrition management process for sales force deposits. The incumbent should know the cause and remedial measure of deposit withdrawal in the portfolio of sales force
  • Coordinate periodical meetings to review targets, key selling tools for our existing and prospective customers
  • Develop and maintain strategic marketing alliance with business units of MBL to develop cross-sell opportunities
  • Maximizing profitability and market share of the liability business by focusing on new customer acquisition strategies as well as working on the existing customer base
  • Initiate plans to optimize product profitability by analyzing product performance and identify key income / cost drivers
  • Ensuring the budgeted target & KPI’s achievement of team on monthly basis/quarterly and annual basis

Area Manager: Swat

Area Manager is responsible for Planning & Implementing business growth by managing all deposit and business segment of corresponding Branches across the area. Development, Management and Execution of strategy to achieve multi-dimensional business targets as per KPIs assigned and introduce sales & service excellence in branches.

To strive to attain business sales goals of assigned area and take new business initiates by identifying potential customers. To ensure satisfactory service experience by all the customers of bank through Branch network as per Internal Audit and Regulator’s requirements.

Build strategy to achieve multi-dimensional growth targets within reasonable time-lines & approved Area’s budget. Also enhance & maintain productivity of staff at highest level through inculcating motivation & team play.

Key responsibilities:
  • To build a team of highly qualified and professionally competent individuals for the branches to be inducted after consultation with the top management
  • To be proactive about the market trends and aptly redirecting the resources to enhance any available implicated opportunities
  • Develops motivates and guides a team to achieve desired productivity and competency. Responsible for engaging in staff selection, identifies their training needs, appraises performance, motivates through coaching/feedback rewards staff based on their performance and builds a team through effective communication and leadership

Experience: Fresh or preferably with at least six months sales/marketing/customer service experience in the banking industry.

  • Candidate must have a clear understanding and experience of sales & marketing with a profound customer service
  • Good communication skills along with the knowledge of general banking
  • Expertise in terms of managing a liabilities portfolio and can achieve the assigned targets
